Re: Lisbon Tourism tips (T-Friends party)
for those who arrive early to Lisbon, i recommend to go to Costa da Caparica. Awesome beaches with awesome ice creams!!! Seriously, i love those ice creams!!!
http://maps.google.pt/maps?f=q&source=s ... 00142&z=20
And the route (for those who start at the airport)
http://maps.google.pt/maps?f=d&source=s ... 8&t=h&z=12
Right on the marker A, there are two wonderfull ice cream shops. Try them!!
And now, an historic place for the live of Lisboa! This is where many of the important govern. buildings are and has an excellent arquitect!! And the river, next to all this, provide the turists with an wonderfull sight. Too bad for the smell, actually. But it's worth it.

For those of you that have an extreme love for nature, i advice you to go to Gulbenkian gardens.
http://maps.google.pt/maps?f=q&source=s ... 05681&z=18
and the route is (from the airport):
http://maps.google.pt/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF ... 16&iwloc=A
Actually, these gardens belong to a very important foundation: the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It was created with the purpose of giving the credit to the ones who excell themselves at medicine and science.
Oh, and near the foundation, there is the El Corte Ingles, which our "hermanos" know very well. For those who don't, it's a big mall managed by a spanish company. It has great goodies, in my opinion (food, specially ).
